Volunteer Opportunities

We are always seeking for volunteers to help us with the following activities.

Class Clerk (weekly commitment)

Duties: Sign-in students, Collect fees, assist with Registration Forms        

Class Angel (weekly commitment)

Duties: Assistant to instructor (must be able to lead AND follow at the intermediate level)

Monthly Dance Event Host (monthly commitment)

Duties: Sign-in guests, Collect fees, Handout BDASL fliers 

Senior Program Assistant
(weekdays at Senior apartment buildings)

Duties: Welcome seniors and assist with weekly sign-in Roster, Participate in Senior Ballroom Dance Class, Serve healthy snacks following class

Most of our volunteers have been dancing with us for a few weeks or months before taking over volunteer responsibilities. That way you can get to know us, and we can get to know you.
