Outreach Programs
BDASL is dedicated to bringing the fun, artistic expression, and health benefits of ballroom dancing to the greater St Louis area. We believe in making this beautiful piece of American culture accessible to the entire community with outreach to schools, libraries, senior centers, art fairs and festivals, and more.

BDASL Student Dance Programs
BDASL's outreach with schools and other educational institutions is designed to expose students to the joys of ballroom dancing! The photo to the left is an Outreach Day of Dance with the St. Louis Priory, where students partook in dance classes and social dancing.
BDASL Senior Dance Classes
Through a DOC grant and oversight by Urban Strategies, BDASL teaches weekly ballroom dance classes at four McCormack Baron Senior apartment buildings. BDASL’S successful senior program has enriched the lives of hundreds of seniors in the St Louis area through ballroom dancing to increase flexibility, strength and endurance, to stimulate memory, improve balance and reduce the risk of falls.
